Organisational Visits

Warning Zone works with a variety of organisation and bodies across the county: Youth Offending Service, Leicestershire Fire & Rescue Service, Vista, County Council, Scouts and others.

We work with organisations in a variety of ways, some pay to have the Warning Zone experience with our volunteer guides and staff members. If you are part of an organisation and feel that you have a group of people who would benefit from a visit to Warning Zone, then please get in touch and we can discuss you needs and requirements.

Corporate support for Warning Zone is vital in our quest to stay fresh and relevant. We need to constantly be at the forefront of the latest issues affecting our communities. We are always keen to engage with members of our business community and discuss the various ways in which they can help our charity.

The options of support include: Zone Sponsorship (over three years) / Sponsoring a Warning Zone event / putting on your own event in aid of Warning Zone / choosing us as your “Charity of the Year” / Fund a school visit to Warning Zone (near to your business) or fund for our Roadcrew team to present at your local High School and many more options.

There are many benefits to supporting our charity, these include (with the zone sponsorship) use of our facilities for free. Two recent Zone Sponsors have used our facilities, one for a Sales Seminar and the other for a Staff Health and Safety Day.

Another benefit can be training for your apprentices, graduates and new staff members in developing their presentation skills and confidence by training as a Volunteer Guide. We can offer full training which would take approximately three-day visits in a short period of time. This would then allow them to present one or two days each month as a guide to the children visiting our centre.

So far, we have had two companies: Pochin and Tarmac who have provided staff members as guides and both are proving to be successful ventures with the staff members presentation skills and confidence improving dramatically.
